Fiddlebal on the Move

Get ready for a one-of-a-kind collaboration bringing together five music schools from three different countries. Join Naomi Vercauteren’s vibrant violin class at De Poel in Ghent, groove with Wouter Vandenabeele’s talented students from d’Academie in Sint-Niklaas and the Centrale in Ghent, and be enchanted by the Slovenian Fiddle Gang – violinists Bojan Cvetrežnik and Barja Drnovšek, based in Ljublijana. Plus, experience the magic of Gabriel Lenoir’s folk violin orchestra Envoyez les violons ! hailing from Lille, France.

Each group will kick off the celebration, treating you to lively dance tunes with their unique violin ensembles. The grand finale promises an extraordinary performance, as over 50 violinists unite for a spectacular musical extravaganza. All of this, complemented by the skillful strumming of Jeroen Knapen on a lone guitar. Don’t miss out on this fiddleball that transcends all borders!
